Message from Our President

Thanks for visiting the Coastal Concerts website.

You may be reading this because you’re already a classical music lover, because you’re interested in one of our many outreach programs, or because you’re curious about award-winning cultural activities in central Delmarva.  Whatever your reason for visiting our site, you’ve come to the right place!

Our six-concert season features a variety of soloists and small ensembles on par with those typically found in major metropolitan areas. We also sponsor free concerts, pre-concert enrichment lectures and school-based educational programs to make fine music accessible and enjoyable to anyone with an interest. In addition, we help to nurture the next generation of musicians and teachers by competitively awarding scholarships and donating musical instruments to local schools.

We’d love to have you as an audience member for any of the many programs we offer throughout the year. As a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization, we also depend on the generosity of those who are willing to give their time and expertise to help us remain successful. And, of course, donations always are welcomed!

You’ll find information about upcoming concerts and our other programs elsewhere on this website. But if you can’t find what you’re looking for, or if you have any questions that aren’t answered here, feel free to email me at president@coastalconcerts.org or call 888-212-6458

I hope to see you at an upcoming concert. In the meantime, stay in touch by signing up for our free eNewsletter and “liking” us on Facebook.

Best regards,

Richard Scalenghe
